That is how long I have been married. 17 years. Long enough to raise some kids and begin a journey as grandparents this week.
Wait when did we become that old?? I refuse to believe it..
But watching him with the baby reminds me of when we had ours. The hours he spent holding and talking to them. Making the same faces and sounds at them..
Tonight we will go out to eat and have some laughs with some friends. Then home to bed. because ya know we are old and grandparents now. Remember when the thought of our OWN parents getting frisky horrified us and we didn’t even DARE consider our grandparents being frisky. HA!!! Oh the things we learn when we get older and WE become the parents and grandparents. He still makes me frisky..
Here’s to 17 more years of chasing each other around the house, much to the dismay of our children lol.
