Leigh has this wonderful carnival that reminds us to take a moment to smell the roses. Her inspiration has lead many of us to find beauty in places we least likely look. In the hectic bustle of this weekend Gene and I finally decided we needed some us time. So between visiting my sister in the hospital and paying bills we took the camera and tripod and went to the Goddard Bridge. I love this area because there are so many different elements that make it beautiful for photo taking.
Hay bales stacked for winter feeding:
A tall tree just right for leaning against:
A picnic table in front of an old barn a quilt square attached to it:
A field perfect for dancing in the sun with the stream and covered bridge standing watch:
A covered bridge with architecture today’s designers could take lessons from on longevity and strength:
An old church:
A stone wall that is perfect for sitting and just breathing:

Cute shots.
