Dear Friday.. Bite me..

I know I normally participate in finish the sentence, but for the life of me I had nothing positive to finish the sentence with. This has been a horrible week. Period. Paying bills, Hubby working ungodly hours and my stress level through the roof. Son facing another possible knee surgery but first an MRI. Then this morning Gene dodges to miss a car on his side of the road and instead hits a concrete bridge abutment busting his tire rim. Our road is crap on a dry bright day. I loathe it at night because it is a country road with no lighting at all, it is DARK. Add rain in and it is horrible. So here he is on his way to work, it’s raining, it’s dark, and he gets to this spot in the road we all hate anyway from a wreck that happened years ago on this same bridge abutment that killed several small children. The car is on his side and he is in his huge truck. If he hits them he knows they will be seriously hurt if not killed by the size difference in vehicles and impact, so he opts to head off the road as much as possible, hitting that abutment just right. He limped the truck to the nearest place to pull off and called me to come get him.

Needless to say those tires , although bought used by us, were still in good shape, but not now. So the person he dodged never looked back. Your welcome buddy for my husband having common sense and darn good driving skills. I shudder to think of what could have happened had he hit that spot differently and been flipped. So yeah Friday you can bite me. Matter of fact this whole week can..
