Because you 2 are so busy arguing with one another, in front of customers who are needing waited on, OR you are eating/drinking/ talking to other customers. Meaning we have a line. A line that I take care of. I have watched people leave both of your registers to come to me. Because in your world complaining, fighting with one another and the latest gossip is much more important than the person waiting to be taken care of. Which is why the manager is getting pissy that my register, which is the 3rd one, meaning I should only have customers when there is a back up or rush because you 2 choose the main registers, always has more sales than either of you. That should never happen. Ever. He stood back and watched the other day the dynamics. While 2 other workers tried to calm you 2 down and talk to you about your behavior. It went in one ear and out the other. As soon as one of you walked away the other turned to me to whine and complain about you and what you were doing. Finally, the manager called you 2 on the carpet. The younger one bit her tongue, but still lollygagged around when customers were standing there. To the point people walked away to me. He finally put me doing floor things forcing both of you to stay at the register and ya know work. Sorry bout that.. NOT..
3rd shift. When I come on at 6 and show up at 530 I should not come in to find both of you standing at the counter talking and every coffeepot empty. I shit you not. THEN the girl mentioned above, who spends the better part of her days shoved up the tail of the girl who normally does all that on first shift , came in early because the other older woman mentioned above called in. So she is by the coffeepots and has NO CLUE how to brew coffee!!! How the hell do you A. not have a clue how to brew coffee and B. not know when you are stuck to the side of the woman who does it all day every chance you get. Not only does she NOT know how to do coffee, she has no clue about anything deli wise. No idea how to count and prepare sandwiches and pastries, but also no idea how to date them when you put them out. You have no clue how to do any of it.
But on the plus side while I was sick all this week and missed 2 days because of it I got promoted to Team Leader.. Ahem.. I wonder why..
