Help save a baby’s life.. time is running out..

I am a mother above everything else I do in life. The thought of possibly losing one of my children to a disease or defect that can be repaired is scary, but even scarier for one mother I know. Mye De Leon ‘s baby was born with a congenital heart defect that requires a surgery before he is 3 months old. Alphonse was born in the Philippines and it was following his birth they discovered the problem. A hole in his tiny heart is keeping his blood from being oxygenated, meaning even crying too hard could cause his death. Can you imagine never having heard your child really cry?? I know we as parents often have days where we complain they cry so much, but for Mye De Leon, his lack of crying is enough for her to keep hoping he will get his surgery.

Here is where we come in as a community. There is no insurance, his surgery HAS to be done by February or he will die, Not might die, or could die, he will die. At the tender age of 3 months. His little heart is so weak he cannot even eat for long because it is stress inducing for him. As a mother this breaks my heart, one of the most intimate times for me and my children was those hours of dawn when they would eat and I would rock. The cost of the surgery must be paid in full before he can have it.. there is no insurance there, no medical card, no help system. $12, 500 . That is a lot of money. But we as a community can do this.

Mye does scrapbooking kits and has a store where you can order from her, every sale of her goods goes towards helping her save her son’s life. Check out Pixels and Company

She also does blog design on several platforms and has a site for that as well My Creative Zone

Or you can simply donate to her at admin (at) myedeleon(dot)com through Paypal. every little bit helps.

Please, a child is depending on all we can do as a community to save his life.. More of their story can be found on An Innocent heart.
