In this house that is HUGE. Finding something that is a snack that will help tide them over for dinner without filling them full of sugar and junk is monumental. As a rule they won’t eat it if it even resembles something healthy or good for them. Yet in came the Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar with no fancy bells and whistles, no flashy packaging and it was gone. Now I love banana nut bread period. Could sit down and eat a whole loaf by myself. Which of course as we know would not be the wise thing to do for anyone. I don’t even want to know the calories it would contain. But now I have the ability to squash my hunger for something sweet and nutty AND have it be good for me as well. That is a great thing for me when I am trying to lose weight and still eat better than I have been.
