Where in the world is Angel at today???

Remember when I said that I wasn’t going to miss the running constantly for doctor’s appointments. It was going to be nice to get kids on a bus and crawl back in bed if I wanted to. yeah about that. I took the job helping the woman through a program called CDO.Basically it is a fill the gap program for people who need more than basic home health once a week, but do not require full time care. So they allot so many hours a week per person  for personal care, like bathing, or cooking, and so many hours a week for homemaking which includes things like doing dishes and laundry. For any of them it allows them the ability to continue to live in their home and get help for what they want help with, not confine them to a facility where they are not allowed any freedom. I am an advocate for the person to live in their home, and still be a set of watchful eyes for health issues or other issues that someone may not notice. Usually it takes a couple of weeks to get all the paperwork filled out, training done and checks in to get started on the program. Since I had cared for mom that made my experience better and my background check was done in less than an hour. Fille out the papers yesterday around noon and was on payroll by 3. Yeah my background check was clean. She was thrilled. It also helps me get jobs working for others who qualify for the program. Meaning I could work for 2 or 3 people a week and get in 40 hours by doing that. So daily I go spend time with her and talk to her. We laugh and have a good time, I fuss over her overdoing it, she overdoes it more. It’s like caring for mom all over again.

Today I am taxi to my sister. I got up at 7 took my middle one to school and straight to my friend. Took her some breakfast, made sure she was okay and settled down then off to my sister’s to take her to her appointment in Lexington. She is having the nerves in her back burned a procedure that could take several hours due to having to sedate her. So I dropped her off and came to McDonalds. here I can get WIFI while sitting on their covered patio and enjoying the breeze. I have almost exhausted the battery on the computer. Luckily there is an outdoor plug in where I can just hook up and go on as if I never lost power HA..

Friday we will be in Berea for Rocktopia. Doug is performing there and he is as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. The crowds for his festival are estimated to be about 6000. Hell I am nervous for him but I won’t tell him that. He needs someone to keep it calm for him. So be prepared for tons of video this weekend about his show and how awesome he did. i am taking cameras, batteries the whole 9 yards.  So what is on schedule for your week??
